Tracie is a faculty member at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. She is known for her ability to blend line and emotion to create a dance experience that is both pure and evocative. As a choreographer, Tracie has successfully established a unique style of contemporary lyrical movement that has gained recognition in both concert and commercial dance scenes worldwide. Tracie has also taught at various prestigious institutions, including the Joffrey Ballet, Yale University, Amarbailar in Paraguay, TDR Tour in Ixtapa, Encore Dance Camp in Dallas, Peridance and Marymount Manhattan College, among others.

Fredrick Davis, former principal dancer with Dance Theatre of Harlem, has an extensive repertoire including works by George Balanchine, Alvin Ailey, and Ulysses Dove. Performing in national/international tours, Davis danced with Dallas Black Theatre, San Jose Dance Theatre Company, New Jersey Ballet Company, and Connecticut Ballet. Davis has also served as a guest Choreographer for Neville Dance Theatre and the American Midwest Ballet Company. His performance highlights include Arthur Mitchell's DTH Vision Gala dancing with Ashley Murphy, Misty Copeland, and Matthew Prescott.
SAFD's "Guest Artist Intensive" challenges and excites with Guest Artists Tracie Stanfield, staff member of Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway, and Fredrick Davis, former Principal Dancer with Dance Theatre Of Harlem.

This energizing and rigorous intensive will increase students' strength, intellect, and artistry with technique classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Pointe Variations, and world-renowned repetoire from Dance Theatre Of Harlem. With classical and commercial approaches, Stanfield and Davis' expertise will propel dancers technical skill, versatility, and endurance.

SAFD's "Diversity In Dance Workshop" broadens students' horizons with a diverse array of dance styles. Alongside Modern and Ballet/Pointe Variations, our dancers will experience Flamenco, West African, Classic Jazz, Hip Hop, Leaps & Turns, Pilates for Dancers, Contemporary Floorwork, and Contemporary Partnering. Exiting the classical comfort zone, "Diversity in Dance" aims to expand our dancers' vocabulary, allowing room to deepen the dancers' knowledge and relationship to movement, strengthen the body, broaden versatility, and appreciate diverse dance styles. In presenting new information and movement pathways, our students will increase learning skills, grow their adaptability, and gain confidence in approaching new challenges.
