RISING LEVEL VI - ADV
This energizing and rigorous intensive will increase students' strength, intellect, and artistry with technique classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Afro-Jazz Fusion, Pointe Variations, and choreography. With classical and commercial approaches, both guest artists' expertise will propel dancers technical skill, versatility, and endurance.

Locklear is one of the founding members of The Milwaukee Dance Connection and has danced with Eleone Dance Theatre, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, Dallas Black Dance Theatre II, Owen Cox Dance group, NuWorld Contemporary Danse Theatre, Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre, and Dayton Contemporary Dance Company where she served as the company Jazz and Contemporary instructor as well as Resident Choreographer for DCDC II.

Ballet, Pointe, Variations
Julia Moiseeva is a highly-regarded master teacher and ballet dancer. Originally from Moscow, Russia, Moiseeva trained at the Kirov Ballet Academy and soon became a company member with the Kremlin Ballet. Moiseeva later moved to South Carolina where she opened up own Ballet Academy, the Julia Moiseeva Ballet Academy. Moiseeva returns back to SAFD to bring her Vagonova training to our students.
SAFD's "Excellence in Motion" Guest Artist Intensive challenges and excites with guest artists Marlayna Locklear and Julia Moiseeva.

This immersive and rigorous intensive fosters strength, adaptability, and artistic depth through a diverse curriculum featuring Ballet, Contemporary, Afro-Jazz Fusion, Pointe Variations, Dancer Conditioning, and Choreography. Dancers will refine their technique, expand their movement vocabulary, and develop greater endurance through both classical foundations and commercial influences. With the expertise of these acclaimed artists, participants will be challenged to enhance their versatility, refine their performance quality, and elevate their technical artistry.
